The teachers
Founder. Former SPX market maker, head trader and position manager.
Daniel teaches a way of reading the market maker position that comes directly from running one. At Belvedere Trading he made markets in SPX options, ran the desk as head trader and position manager, and as a young trader built and ran the firm's market maker training program.
Nearly three decades on bank derivatives desks.
Matt ran equity derivatives desks at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Société Générale, RBC, Credit Suisse and UBS, managing large SPX and VIX books. He traded from the other side of the institutional aisle, the bank desks that send the orders a market maker hedges.
The format
The group stays small, the sessions run live, and the examples come out of the market that week.
Taught on Zoom to the cohort, in order. The early sessions set up the greeks as one picture, the middle ones take spreads onto the vol surface, and the later ones put market maker hedging flows on a live position.
Each session lands on the cohort's own site afterwards: the replay, a transcript that jumps the video to any line, the reading clipped for that session, and a Q&A that writes answers back onto the page.
A mentorship-only Discord with Daniel and Matt, the archive of past sessions and private market calls, and the team's read of dealer positions and hedging flows as the cohort runs.
